TIKTOK AD ACCOUNTS · 4 MIN READ

TikTok ad accounts without the account confusion.

Separate business access, browser sessions, and network connections before you scale your campaign operations.

When several people work across several advertisers, small mix-ups get expensive. A clear operating setup helps your team know which business, ad account, and campaign they are working on before they make a change.

Know what each layer does

The TikTok account is the public-facing identity. The ad account is where you manage advertising. The browser profile is your working environment. A proxy supplies the network connection for that environment. Give each layer a clear name in your team’s operating document.

BadAssProxy supplies proxy connections. It does not sell TikTok accounts or ad accounts, set advertising budgets, or grant advertiser eligibility. Keeping those responsibilities clear makes it easier to choose the right tool and the right support contact.

Use Business Center for access

TikTok Business Center supports management of accounts, assets, members, and partners. Use those permissions to give colleagues access to the business resources they need; a shared browser session is not a replacement for assigning the correct role.

For each client, record the Business Center, ad account identifier, billing owner, and person who approves campaign changes. Have someone check that information during onboarding, before the team starts spending.

Pair a browser profile with a documented connection

Our recommended desktop setup is AdsPower for browser profiles plus BadAssProxy for the network connection. AdsPower accepts custom proxy details and provides a connection check during profile setup. You can take the host, port, username, and password from your BadAssProxy connection details.

For repeated administrative work, start by evaluating static residential. Keep the same documented setup between handovers. If a connection fails, check its status and expiry in the dashboard before changing several settings at once.

Use a short pre-campaign check

Network routing is one part of the workflow. TikTok controls account eligibility and ad review; an IP address does not determine campaign approval or replace accurate business information.

  1. Confirm the client, Business Center, ad account, and billing owner.
  2. Check that each operator has the intended permissions.
  3. Open the named browser profile and test its connection.
  4. Verify the campaign destination, creative, and budget with the owner.
  5. Keep a record of changes so the next operator can follow the work.
