Our recommendation for Facebook Ad Accounts is static residential IPs. They fit a workflow where operators return to the same account and need a connection they can identify, document, and troubleshoot. This is a BadAssProxy product recommendation, not a requirement imposed by Facebook.
Choose the connection around the account
Start with the advertiser you are authorized to manage. Record its business name, account identifier, billing contact, and the person responsible for access. Choose a static residential IPv4 plan in the location your operation needs, then verify the connection before opening the advertising workspace.
Keep the proxy assignment in your account record. A fixed address makes connection changes easier to investigate: if a teammate reports a login problem, you can check the assigned service and expiry instead of guessing which connection they used.
Separate access from network settings
An IP address does not grant access to an advertiser. Have the business owner arrange the correct account permissions and recovery contacts. Keep passwords and recovery codes in a password manager, with access limited to the people who need them.
For desktop work, use a clearly named AdsPower browser profile with the assigned BadAssProxy connection. Before a campaign edit, check the advertiser name and budget owner. A browser profile helps organize the session; the operator remains responsible for making changes in the correct account.
Use a repeatable handover
Imagine two colleagues covering the same advertiser on different shifts. The handover should identify the advertiser, assigned profile, proxy service, work completed, and next action. It should not require the second colleague to reconstruct the setup from a chat history.
- Record the advertiser, owner, and operator permissions.
- Configure the selected static residential IP in the named browser profile.
- Check the connection and confirm the intended advertiser is open.
- Record service expiry and the person responsible for renewal.
- Log campaign changes and outstanding approvals before handing over.
Treat an account restriction as an account issue
If the platform displays a restriction, read the notice and use the review options available to the account owner. Keep a record of the notice and relevant business information. Changing a proxy does not resolve an advertising-policy decision, and no connection guarantees that an account will avoid bans.
For TikTok and Reddit, our starting recommendation differs: choose 4G mobile data proxies. Use the platform-specific guides instead of applying the Facebook setup to every account.
