Be precise about “private”
Private credentials protect access to your connection. Dedicated allocation and shared-network access are different product properties; confirm the selected plan rather than assuming every proxy has an exclusive exit IP.
Protect the working environment
Store credentials in your approved password manager or browser-profile tool. Limit access to authorized teammates and remove access after handover. Avoid posting host, username and password together in screenshots or support threads.
Connect your application
Copy the host, port and authentication details from My proxies into your browser profile or application. Match the protocol to the supplied connection. Test the exit location before starting work, and keep credentials private. Use a separate, consistently configured browser profile for each account you are authorized to manage.
