TIKTOK ACCOUNTS · 4 MIN READ

A cleaner setup for your TikTok accounts.

Give every brand a clear home: account ownership, a consistent connection, and a workflow your team can follow.

A brand channel, a founder account, and a client account have different jobs. Your setup should make those differences obvious. Start with the work each account needs to do, then choose the tools that make that work easier to manage.

Start with the account, not the IP address

Write down the account owner, its audience, the person responsible for publishing, and how the owner recovers access. Keep recovery information in your password manager. Use your operating document for roles and links, not passwords.

A simple naming convention helps: client / brand / channel. Use that same name for the content calendar and any browser profile. When a teammate takes over, they should be able to identify the correct account without opening several sessions.

Choose the environment your work needs

GeeLark’s account-management guide distinguishes between physical devices, cloud phones, and browser workflows. That is a useful starting point: choose around the tasks you actually perform, rather than buying a new tool for every account.

For editing and publishing that requires the native mobile app, evaluate a phone or cloud-phone environment. For work you perform in a desktop browser, we recommend AdsPower to organize browser profiles, paired with BadAssProxy when you need a separately managed network connection.

Keep the connection easy to understand

For a profile you revisit every day, our starting recommendation is a BadAssProxy static residential connection. A stable address is easier for your team to document and troubleshoot than a connection that changes during a session. Check country availability and compatibility before you choose a plan.

Rotating residential and mobile options serve different needs. Choose them when changing exit addresses or a mobile network is part of the task. Buying a proxy does not create a TikTok account, supply identity documents, or guarantee reach.

Make the first handover repeatable

Before you add more accounts, have a teammate follow the setup once. If they cannot tell which profile, connection, or content calendar to use, fix the handover first.

  1. Name the account and record its owner and publishing lead.
  2. Choose the phone or browser environment and connect the selected proxy if needed.
  3. Test the connection before signing in, then confirm the intended account is open.
  4. Record where connection details and renewal dates are managed.
  5. Review access whenever someone joins or leaves the team.
