1. Find the service details
Open your BadAssProxy account and select the purchased service. Confirm the assigned host or address, port, supported protocol, authentication requirements, and expiry. If a field is unclear, contact support before guessing. Do not post credentials in screenshots or public support threads.
2. Match the application settings
Choose the protocol actually supported by the service. Enter the host and port separately when the application requests them, then add the username and password if required. Copy values carefully without adding spaces. Keep secrets in a password manager.
3. Check the intended route
Use the application’s connection test, then open a neutral address-checking page inside the configured browser. Compare the exit address with your assignment. An approximate city estimate is different from an address mismatch.
4. Confirm continuity and coverage
Restart the profile and repeat the check. If needed, test a second underlying network. Confirm which applications use the route; a browser-level proxy does not automatically configure every app on your device. Verify renewal and replacement conditions when continuing assignment matters.
5. Open only authorized accounts
Navigate to the genuine platform and complete legitimate verification. Connection success does not guarantee account acceptance or reverse a restriction. Keep two-factor authentication and recovery access available.
6. Follow the detailed profile walkthrough
For AdsPower, follow our persistent profile and static proxy walkthrough and the official proxy setup documentation. Interface labels can change; use current instructions.
